WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW (SEE O.C.G.A. § 34-9-1 ET SEQ.) AUTHORIZES USE OF ONE MUNICIPALITY'S SHARE OF COMMON POOL, or group self-insurance fund, to pay the workers' compensation claims of employees from another municipality. 1980 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 80-145.
